Wilfred John Hansen, known as “Swede”, passed away on August 13, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Swede was born August the 8th, 1926 in Sturgeon Valley to James and Bertha (Bruce) Hansen. He leaves to mourn his 9 children; Dale Hansen, Peggy Hansen, Heather Hansen, Wayne & Donalda Hansen, Lyle & Wendy Hansen, Deb & Bob Romanchuk, Joanne Hansen, James & Stephanie Hansen, and Lori Hansen. His grandchildren and great grandchildren, and his beloved twin brother Clifford! 

He was predeceased by his parents James & Bertha Hansen, sister Mildred Farish, brothers Herb and Ken Hansen, granddaughter Jae-Lynn Peters and his nephews Dwayne Hansen and Darren Hansen. 

At Swede’s request, there will be no service. A private, family interment will be held in Prince Albert, SK in Spring 2019. Arrangements have been entrusted to My Personal Alternatives, Kamloops, BC.
