Eight La Ronge residents were fined a total of $11,110 after a two-year investigation by the Saskatchewan Environment Ministry into fish and wildlife violations.

Firefighter overwhelmed by double award win at ball

For going beyond the call of duty, Keaton Cloud was named Firefighter of the Year on Saturday at the Fireman’s Ball.

Petition demands more doctors in La Ronge

A petition asking for more physicians in La Ronge was launched Thursday.

Rhonda Oliver began the petition as a concerned citizen, and has sign-up sheets available at the La Ronge Medical Clinic. Oliver, who manages the clinic, wrote in the petition that increased health services are needed for residents.....
