Rabbit Fire grows in size

The fire inside the Prince Albert National Park has grown in size and now has about 200 firefighters working to knock it down, with new additions arriving from Quebec and the Northwest Territories in recent days.

Premier Moe to face B.C.’s Horgan at western premiers meeting

Premier Scott Moe won’t mince words about pipelines when he gets time with his B.C. counterpart John Horgan.

The two are attending the premiers meeting in Yellowknife.

Notably absent is Albert Premier Rachel Notley who is remaining in Edmonton to focus efforts on getting the Trans Mountain pipeline.....

Pilot charged with impaired operation after small plane crash near Swift Current

The pilot of a Cessna passenger plane that crashed in a field outside Swift Current yesterday has been charged with impaired operation of a plane.

According to RCMP, officers were called to the crash site on the North side of the Trans Canada Highway four kilometres outside of Swift.....

While the wildfire burning in the Prince Albert National Park is putting cabin-owners on edge, it could be beneficial to a unique animal population in the area.

Wildfire Management was called out to suppress a manmade fire at the Seabee Gold Operation May 12.

Saskatchewan families may have to look a bit harder for good deals on gas as they head out on the highways this weekend.

According to the price-tracking app GasBuddy, the average price of gas in the province is $1.26/litre. The lowest advertised price in the province, as of noon.....
