PBCN Chief commits full support to stop bootlegging

The Chief of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN) says he fully supports the idea of check stops to help curb illegal bootlegging.

Seven people were charged in the Creighton area last weekend. Several of those communities targeted fall under the jurisdiction of the PBCN.

Missing Warman man found

RCMP reported later Wednesday that John Wall of Warman had been found safe.

Prince Albert RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating a 51-year-old missing man.

Chief Justice Martel Popescul, who is the chief justice for the province, will preside in a trial by jury at Court of Queen's Bench in the town of Battleford.
