Patterson Park, cannabis and more to be discussed at public meeting tonight

A public meeting tonight at the Kikinahk Friendship Centre will be about more than just Patterson Park.

That’s according to La Ronge Mayor Ron Woytowich who said council decided to expand the conversation to include several other topics like public works. He noted additional information will also be given.....

Northern librarian recognized for 30 years of service with PNLS

The Northern Libraries Conference held last week in Air Ronge didn’t pass without acknowledging those who have hit a milestone in their work.

La Ronge Post Office thanks emergency responders

It was a special day at the La Ronge post office Thursday as Canada Post and the community came out to acknowledge the efforts made by emergency personnel.

The event was part of the nationwide initiative to honour Canada’s professional and volunteer servicemen and women, following the recent unveiling.....

RCMP have released more information following an incident of shots fired in Montreal Lake Thursday morning.

They said at approximately 9 a.m. police were sent to a residence. When members from RCMP Traffic Services, Montreal Lake, Prince Albert, Sturgeon Lake and Waskesiu, detachments responded, the suspects had.....
