Hoop dancers captivating audiences with unique skills

The Pre-Cam Community School hoop dancers have been perfecting their moves since September and are now exhibiting their skills with ease.

Beginning at the start of the school year, instructor and retired teacher Glen Watchel said students began dancing with only five hoops before slowing moving up to 21......

Children North expands programming in northern communities

Described as a one-stop shop for families, Children North continues to expand its services to meet the needs of northern communities.

“There were three of us when I started, and that was close to 12 years ago,” Executive Director Daina Lapworth said. “We are up to 18 staff now.”.....

'It's a dream come true': Restauranteurs give back to tri-community with cleanup effort
