McDougall wins Air Ronge byelection by one vote

Brent McDougall has been elected as councillor in a byelection in Air Ronge.
Results show McDougall was elected with 68 votes, only one vote more than Ron Ratt who received 67 votes. A total of 135 residents cast a ballot.
McDougall replaces Tabitha Burr, who his now the village’s deputy-chief administrative officer/manager of legislative services.
He will be joining Mayor Julie Baschuk, as well as Deputy Mayor Terry Desroches and councillors James Hope Howard and Dave Smallwood on council. Read more about McDougall online here.
