CIBC restricting ATM hours for second time this year

CIBC’s only ATM access in the tri-communities has once again been restricted to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, not including stats.
“The services and operating hours at any one of our ATM locations are based on a range of business considerations including client access and community safety, which we regularly review and adjust as appropriate,” an email from the corporation states.
“We are continuing to assess opportunities to expand ATM access hours.”
The bank had previously restricted operating hours for the ATMs back in January, but they resumed normal 24/7 access following an inquiry by larongeNOW.
