Fatal ATV rollover at Canoe Lake Cree First Nation

An 18-year old girl has died following an ATV accident on Canoe Lake Cree First Nation.

Beauval RCMP officers were called at 8:35 a.m. on July 21 in response to an ATV rollover.

Upon arrival, officers found two people had been involved in the rollover. The driver of the ATV had injuries described as ‘serious in nature’ while the passenger was declared deceased on scene. Her family has been notified.

No charges have been laid at this time. RCMP are continuing their investigation.
