Tough decisions ahead for Ice Wolves coach as regular season nears
The head coach of the La Ronge Ice Wolves has been busy forming a roster for the upcoming Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League season.
Taylor Harnett, who replaced Kevin Kaminski as head coach in June, hosted potential recruits for a main camp in Aberdeen over the weekend.
“We had a good turnout. We had close to 60 skaters, so we had a young group we were able to bring in and get them familiar with the team,” Harnett explained.
“We had our older group, and we were able to put together two really solid teams and we had two days of scrimmages. All-in-all, it was a really good weekend.”
