Man shot in Stanley Mission

RCMP are working to locate a suspect involved in a shooting in Stanley Mission.

An investigation has determined between 8 and 9 a.m. on Monday an unknown individual – believed to be a male who was wearing black clothing at the time of the incident – approached another man and discharged a firearm, injuring him.

The man was taken to a medical centre with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.

Police used a remotely piloted aircraft system and searched the area for an individual matching the suspect description, but the suspect was not located. Officers continue work to identify and locate the suspect and are now ask the public for assistance.
