RCMP investigating attempted robbery in La Ronge

La Ronge RCMP are working to locate a man involved in an attempted robbery. 

On May 7 at approximately 4 p.m., police received a report of an attempted robbery with a firearm. An investigation determined an unknown man (who also could be a teenager) approached a teenager, who was parked in a truck outside a residence on Studer Street.  

The man pointed a firearm at the teenager and demanded to be given the truck. An altercation occurred, the man was disarmed and he later fled from the area on foot. Officers have recovered the firearm.  

The man is described as approximately 5-10. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing black sweatpants and a grey hoodie.
