Ice Wolves host spring recruitment camp
The Ice Wolves had a good showing at their Spring Identification Camp held May 26-28 at the Aberdeen Recreation Complex.
“We had 112. We had about six who at the last minute cancelled,” said head coach Kevin Kaminski.
“One hundred and twenty would have been a full six teams, but we had 112. It was a great showing by the players, and it was a great camp.”
Players came from across Western Canada with a few even travelling to Aberdeen from the United States. Kaminski noted there a definitely some players who attended the camp this weekend who will be on his radar for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) draft on Thursday.
