Teen charged with second-degree murder in Stanley Mission
A 15-year-old boy from Stanley Mission is being charged with second degree murder.
On May 28 at approximately 2:45 a.m., Stanley Mission RCMP received a report of a seriously injured man at a local community hall. Upon police arrival, the man was located on scene and transported to a hospital where he was later declared deceased.
The following day, investigators with Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes executed a search warrant at a residence on Muskeg Crescent in Stanley Mission to recover key evidence required to advance the investigation.
Following a forensic examination that occurred earlier this week, in addition to the information and evidence gathered by investigators, the cause of the man’s death was determined to be the result of a homicide.
