Why are we so excited at La Ronge & Area KidSport?

Well probably because we just got to help out some really great clubs here in town!

Last night we approved program grants for La Ronge Minor Hockey, Churchill Weightlifting Club, La Ronge Minor Baseball & Churchill Basketball!

Nearly $20,000 put back into these fantastic sports programs … which helps to remove financial barriers so all kids can play.

This weekend is our annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and Steak Dinner. This weekend is our primary fundraiser for the entire year!

So on that note … we’re looking for 3 volunteers to come work at our BBQ on Friday night from 5 – 8 on Friday evening, and 2 volunteers to work at our canteen from 8am – noon on Saturday, and 2 more volunteers to work at our canteen from noon – 4 pm on Saturday. If you would like to help us out, please let us know!

And if you would like to come on out to our steak supper, tickets are $20 each.

You get a great steak supper, cooked with love by our local Elks, get to bid on some fantastic prizes in our Silent Auction AND have a great evening out!
