Three facing charges after firearm discharged in Stanley Mission

Stanley Mission RCMP have laid charges in connection to a discharged firearm incident.

Police received a report of the incident on May 23 at approximately 1:35 a.m. Officers responded and arrested three adults and one youth at a residence on Ballantyne Street. In addition, a sawed-off firearm, cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia were seized during a search of the property. 

As a result, 19-year-old Ta’Shane Hercules from Mississauga, Ont., 32-year-old Paul Charles from Stanley Mission, and a teenager are facing charges. The fourth individual was released without charges.

Hercules and the teen are facing multiple firearm-related offenses, as well as possession for the purpose of trafficking. Charles is also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
