RCMP searching for missing man

RCMP are searching for a 42-year-old man last seen at a camp on Viney Lake.  

Ernest Ballantyne was reported missing on Sept. 6. He was last seen Sept. 5 at 3 p.m. at Viney Lake, which is located 89 kilometers west of Creighton. 

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Remotely Piloted Aircraft System and Search and Rescue, Prince Albert Grand Council Search and Rescue, the Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers (SARSAV), the Civilian Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA), the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, and community members are amongst those assisting in the ongoing search in the Viney Lake area. 

Ballantyne is described as five-foot-six with a medium build. He has brown hair and eyes, and is missing some teeth. Ballantyne lives with a cognitive disability and may seem to be younger than his age.
